Hi, I’m Omar Asif, and I’m a second-year law student at Denning Law School.
During my time in law school, I’ve seen my peers indulge in various skill growth and professional development avenues. Some of my peers are involved in the Pakistani law workshop, some in mooting, and others in the Academic Legal Writing module. I’ve been a part of that module, and it has taught me a great deal.
Our classes follow a curriculum that strictly adheres to the ins and outs of academic legal writing. We’ve been walked through formulating a claim, conducting research, and refining our legal script, all while adhering to the highest standards of academic ethics.
I’ve learned to streamline my research and narrow down my thought process to translate what I’m thinking into a standard academic text. I believe this module will prove to be highly beneficial for my academic and professional development, as writing is one of the most fundamental elements of the art of advocacy.
